We decided that it would be helpful to create character profiles to help us understand our characters' mindset, allowing us to understand reasons behinds events within our narrative. As well as this,character profiles provide each actor with a "background story" to who they are playing, helping them to develop their on screne personality.
Danni
The strongest in the group of friends, she is determined to stand up for herself and gain respect for her and the girls. When the plan is originally suggested she is thrilled at the idea, due to her always being the most confidant in the group and taking the lead. However she suddenly finds herself in a difficult position, her sensible nature causing her to try and encourage the girls to forget about their drastic idea as they will end up regretting it. However, she finds her rational mature approach does not help as she becomes more frightened at the prospect of becoming part of a murder plot, suddenly opting out of the arrangement, heartbroken at losing her closest friend Hannah who she has known since a little girl.
Hannah
Hannah is best friends with Danni and has been for years. Due to her not being as confidant as her friend, constantly being pushed around by the bullies in school, she often finds herself in Danni shadow in an attempt to cover up her nerves. However, Hannah is secretly desperate to break out of the group and prove her best friend she can stand on her own two feet, jumping at the idea she fantasises about after her lesson in a desperate attempt for some power within their school. As the plan develops we see a more aggressive side to Hannah as she begins to think Danni is letting her down by not carrying out the plan, destroying their friendship as she joins forces with Tabby in a bid to show her hidden strength.
India
India is a typical teenage girl who loves her group of friends to bits. Due to her passive nature she tries her best not to let the constant bullying get her down, looking on the girls for comfort and trying to see the best in things. When hearing about Hannah's eye opening lesson India can't help but feel slightly tempted at the idea of "getting her own back" for the years of hell they have been put through, however after some consideration she comes to her senses, warning the girls they may have gone to far and the harsh reality they will face afterwards. As she is the main carer for her younger brothers and sisters due to her mum recovering from an alcohol problem she knows she must do what is right for her family, regardless of what the other girls may think.
Tabby
Tabby is the oldest in the group, just turned 17. Despite this she does not feel the most powerful in the group, due to Danni's natural confidence causing her to lead the girls. Like Hannah, Tabby is desperate for some more attention in the friendship circle as she feels her laid back attitude is causing her to be overlooked in decisions, even through she is only doing so to put on a brave face in front of the bullies. The plan excites Tabby, bringing out her competitive streak as she tries to take the lead over Danni. Realising both her and Hannah want the same thing she decides they must join forces and stay strong, to show Danni what they are capable of.

Our opening sequence final storyboard
This is our initial idea for the opening to our Thriller, we decided to record the images individually to give us a rough idea of the duration of each clip, so we could see how long our clips would be combined , so that there would be no chance of use going over our allocated time.
